Mother's Day Florals (A Mom & Me Workshop) Instructor: Shadia Derbyshire May 10 Day: Friday Time: 6:30 - 9:00 pm One Day Workshop (M) $55; (NM) $60 (materials included) Bring your mom and spend an evening creating! Together, we will work on layering a blend of paint pens, acrylic paint, and collage papers to create a one-of-a-kind still life featuring a colorful bouquet of flowers. Each student will choose their own colors and styles while receiving hands-on instructions to ensure a beautiful, finished painting. Students will have the opportunity to accent their paintings with metallic foil, leaf or markers, time permitting. All materials will be provided. Each parent and child must register individually. All levels are welcome and no experience is necessary but, please note, this workshop focuses on collage techniques- not foundational drawing or painting techniques. Paintings can be taken home immediately. This workshop is designed for students 12 and up.
