When you combine mechanical, electrical and computer engineering to design a project you are practicing mechatronics! This futuristic sounding field encompasses robotics, autonomous machines (think self-driving cars) and many more specialties that are shaping our future. In this all-encompassing camp, students will learn key fundamentals of mechatronics while building a linear actuator. Then, they'll extend their learning by designing and assembling their own working version of a classic pinball arcade game to bring home and play. REQUIREMENTS: A laptop/Chromebook is required (tablets won't work) please make sure to bring one, or you can also rent one from us by choosing it as a session option.
