Description
Creativity is key with this camp. If you enjoy arts and crafts join us for this four-day camp experience. We will be using a variety of craft supplies and methods to make your own masterpieces. End the week with your own art displays. This camp required no previous arts and crafts experience. All supplies will be provided throughout the camp. Pre-registration required.
Therapeutic Recreation Adaptive Camp Experience: The purpose of TRACES is to provide an exploration of various leisure activities for individuals with disabilities. Emphasis is on physical and leisure skill development and includes, art, sensory, music, games, nature awareness, life skills, and social interaction.
Prerequisite skills:
- Can follow one to two-step directions
- Tolerance for group activities
- Can perform activities of daily living independently or with verbal cues
- Has a desire to participate and is able to communicate their needs
- Other prerequisites may be included based on each individual camp experience.
