Description
Ramble along the ridgeline through a tract of Thunder Ridge Wilderness to reach the highest point along the AT (in Virginia). This out-and-back hike will take us to the top of Apple Orchard Mountain, under the rock formation known as The Guillotine, to stunning views, and through mountain meadows. Total hiking distance is about 5.5 miles and only about 1000 feet of elevation gain.Activity Family
