2 Session ClassNolensville Rec CenterSaturday, June 8 | 9:30 - 10:30amSaturday, June 15 | 9:30 - 11:30amTake your artwork to a new level with our exciting Textured Painting class! In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore the world of texture and its power to create depth and visual interest in your paintings. Textured art offers stylist simplicity as well as stunning depth to the finished artwork.
We'll explore acrylic paints, molding paste, and the use of tools like palette knives. You will be guided through the entire process of creating the texture and effects and how to get perfect finishes on a 16x20" canvas board.
This workshop will be conducted in two sessions:
Session 1 (one hour) - Foundation & exploration - Prepare the canvas with plain medium and create the texture
Session 2 (two hours) - Paint the dried canvas and take home your stunning piece of artwork.
No prior experience is necessary! This class is open to all levels. Our instructor will guide you through the process, step-by-step, providing helpful tips and tricks.
All materials for the class will be provided by the instructor.
Students will have the option to create a set of two paintings if they desire. This is completely optional. If you wish to create a set, an additional supply fee of $30.00 will be due to the instructor at the beginning of the first class. There is no supply fee for creating a single painting.
