Night Sounds!After sundown, the park fills with an amazing chorus of frogs, toads, insects and more. Meet at the Newport News Discovery Center for a short introduction to our singers, then we’ll take a short hike to hear their evening concert. Can you hear the difference between a cicada and a tree cricket? A bullfrog and a green frog? You will - just come along!

Discovery Center - From the Newport News Park main entrance, proceed 1 mile on Constitution Ave; the Discovery Center and parking lot is on the right - look for the Civil War canon!
