Frogs of Summer
As the weather warms up and we transition from spring to summer, you may notice a change to the sounds of the night-time chorus. What you're hearing is the next round of frog singers taking the stage and adding their own songs to the concert. Frogs such as bullfrogs, treefrogs, cricket frogs, toads (yes toads are frogs), and others. If you love frogs and want to learn more about them, jump on down to the Discovery Center to learn more! We'll also have several frog-themed crafts and activities for the kids to enjoy throughout the day.

Discovery Center - From the Newport News Park main entrance, proceed 1 mile on Constitution Ave; the Discovery Center and parking lot is on the right - look for the Civil War canon!
