About this event
In this exciting deep dive into science concepts, students will create their own slime recipes and understand the chemistry of polymers to do so, learn the engineering design process to create their own cars, extract DNA from peas, and much more! Class will focus on relating complex science concepts to what students experience in their everyday lives, and will teach students the scientific method by showing them how to use their five senses to understand the experiment they’ve completed and best predict the results of future experiments. Students will walk away from this class excited about the possibilities of many disciplines of science and empowered to take ownership of their science education and understanding of the natural world for years to come!
