Learn American history through living books! The American Kids Book Club is a literary adventure where American history and crafts come together to provide kids with a fun, interactive learning experience where we read books about kids living throughout various points of American history! Supplemented by books from the American Girl series, we will read stories that help to tell the story of how our country was put together. As we focus on each story, we get a chance to sample foods from that kids’ culture or era, discuss events that were going on in the world around them and then learn more about their culture by creating a craft project that incorporates what we have learned. We’ll be learning about history and cultures and most definitely having fun! Instructor: Kelsey Jordan
