STOP! STOP! STOP! This is NOT a stand-alone course. You have to be a certified pistol instructor to be a CCW instructor. You need to successfully complete the NRA CCW student course before the instructor course. If you have completed the NRA's Basic Instructor Training (BIT) more than 2 years prior, you will need to retake the BIT course before this course. If you have not completed the prerequisites already, DO NOT REGISTER for this course. Call Ron David, and he will direct you. His contact number is 301.828.5879. Upon successful completion of the course you will be certified to teach firearms by the NRA. You must pay for the tuition and the range fee as listed below.
