ICE Firearms & Defensive Training’s 2025 Youth Summer Camp Invitation “Building Skills, Confidence, and Safety in Shooting Sports” Introduction to Our Youth Summer Camp Welcome to our Youth Summer Camp, a unique program designed to introduce young individuals to the exciting world of shooting sports. Our camp focuses on developing skills in handling pistols, rifles, and shotguns while fostering a safe, educational, and supportive environment. At the heart of our camp is a steadfast commitment to safety. We understand that handling firearms requires a high level of responsibility and care. Therefore, we have implemented rigorous safety protocols to ensure the well-being of every participant. One-on-One Instruction One of the key safety measures is our commitment to providing one-on-one instruction whenever a youth is handling a firearm. Each youth will be paired with a certified instructor who will guide them through every step of the process. This personalized attention ensures that each participant receives thorough and focused training, minimizing the risk of accidents and ensuring that proper techniques are mastered. Certified Instructors All of our instructors are certified professionals with extensive experience in shooting sports and firearm safety. They are dedicated to teaching the essential skills needed for safe and responsible gun handling. Our instructors prioritize creating a positive and educational experience for every person, instilling both confidence and respect for the sport. Comprehensive Safety Training Before any Youth handles a firearm, they will undergo comprehensive safety training. This includes understanding the parts and functions of each type of firearm, learning about the importance of muzzle control, and practicing the correct procedures for loading and unloading. Safety drills and exercises will be conducted regularly to reinforce these crucial lessons.
