Birds are showing up in the area and getting ready to nest. This is the time of year when you can spot more birds. Many are just passing through; some will be looking to set up a nest. All of them are active and more easily found. Join us on this guided hike through the fields, woods and creek areas of Hickory Creek Preserve in search of birds. All skill levels are welcome. This is a great way for beginners to find out what birds are in our area and where they might be found.
Dress to be outside and bring along your favorite field guide and binoculars. The hike may be 1.5 miles to 2 miles long on paved and natural surfaced trails.
