Event details and schedule

Greetings from the NC Cycling Festival!

We are excited that you are joining us for this first annual NCCF! You can look forward to a premium event with lots of activities for the whole family, including gran fondos, kid-friendly activities, a vintage bike show, live music, food trucks, vendors, and the charming historic downtown of Mocksville, NC. Please see our website, https://nccyclingfestival.com/, for more information about this incredible new event!

The Festival kicks off on Friday, 4/19/24 with a meet and greet beginning at 5 pm. That will be followed by a ticketed VIP dinner and live music will be available that evening throughout the downtown area.

On Saturday morning, the vendors and swap meet will be setup by 8 am and food trucks shortly after. Family friendly fun activities start at 10 am and end with a family bike parade through downtown at noon.

Packet pickups will be available on Friday evening at event headquarters and on Saturday morning starting at 11 am at the Davie YMCA. The bike show will be setup by 1 pm and that is also when the gran fondos begin to depart from the Davie YMCA at 215 Cemetary Street, Mocksville, NC on a staggered schedule. Every route will start by riding through downtown and be greeted by all the festival attendees - it will be a blast!

While the cyclists are out touring, there will be cool bikes and a swap meet at the bike show location, live music on the sound stage, and the festival will be in full force downtown. In addition to the many shopping and dining opportunities that are a part of historic downtown Mocksville, there will be beer and wine vendors, food trucks, and a great showing of vendors in town for the day.

When you return from your ride, we have arranged with the Davie YMCA to use their facilities to shower and change, if you wish, before returning downtown to enjoy the festivities that will be going full blast until 1 am Sunday morning. Make sure you swing by the bike show location and cast your people's choice vote for your favorites. Awards for the winning bikes will be announced from the sound stage at 6:30. The live music will continue until 10 pm on the main stage and later in the local pubs.

Be sure to come back on Sunday morning at 10 am to enjoy a leisurely scavenger hunt on your bike through the downtown area, the swap meet and bike show that will continue until 2 pm, and to say your goodbyes to old and new friends that you will have connected with during this weekend of all things cycling.

There will be free shuttles so you can park and ride to most places during the weekend. That is our recommendation as parking may become very limited, especially on Saturday.

Thank you for supporting this weekend festival to celebrate our shared love of cycling and please reach out with any questions or concerns.

My best,
