CAMP 5 (Community Camp)- this camp is welcome to ALL genders & ALL ages for the first time ever! This 4 day long, weekend camp takes place at YMCA Skate Camp which is skateboarding paradise! Located on a beautiful lake outside Sequoia National Park, this camp offers a unique connection to nature and community. This camp is great for friend groups, families and couples! Campers and camp families will get to skate, swim, be in nature and unplug with like-minded folks! Camp features 5 different skate parks (wood + concrete), a lakeside launch ramp, swimming, boating, hiking, wilderness skills & activities and campfire hangouts. Unlike our other weeks of camp, Community Camp will be mostly unstructured, informal time for folks to skate, relax, and enjoy nature. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided and there will be a few options for structured activities/workshops- such as group skate lessons, wilderness workshops by Skate Wild and campfire hangouts in the evening. Most of the days will be comprised of free time where folks can choose what they would like to do- open skate, enjoy swimming, boating and fishing during waterfront hours, and set out on the some incredible hiking trails nearby. NOTE: This camp is open to all genders and ages BUT participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian attend with them. Parents/Guardians are responsible for supervising their youth at all times. Parents/Guardians must also register for this program.
