Do you find yourself walking outside and wondering 'what is that flower?' or 'is that insect venomous?' Identifying native flora and fauna can increase your sense of place and overall enjoyment of time spent in nature. Fortunately, you do not have to be an expert to ID what's around you, you can use a cool app - SEEK by iNaturalist. This free app can identify any living thing from your camera, in the moment or from your photo roll! Practice using this amazing tool (and win a small prize) by completing a scavenger hunt challenge. Best for ages 7+ but open to all.
Drop-in, no pre-registration required. Stop into the nature center to get started, then the scavenger hunt is self-guided outside around the nature center/on paved paths.
