"We are always making the world, both alone and together." -Ross Gay
What if we moved through the world orienting our care and attention to what we love and value, not just what we fear? In our time together, we will explore ways to nourish our deepest resources: our own inner knowing, our connection to community, and our relationship to the natural world. In the morning, we will weave guided practice and silence, stillness and movement, and spend time tuning our senses to our internal experience as well as the beautiful outdoor environment. In the afternoon, we will explore relational practices in dyads and small groups, gently cultivating our capacity to show up with authenticity and heart, especially in times of uncertainty.
Whether you are new to mindfulness or seeking to deepen your practice, our retreats aim to offer a welcoming space for all. Practices can be adapted as needed. We’ll meet in the Garden Room at Holy Wisdom Monastery.
This session will follow CDC guidelines and UW Health screenings that are in effect at the time of the class session.
