About this event
Students will get a chance to hone their comedic craft with a look at the world of stand-up comedy. They will watch videos of stand-up from a variety of performers, as well as learn about the process of joke writing and see the life of a comedian. Along the way, the group will discuss how comedic skills like timing, confidence, and audience can affect the success of a routine. During this project, students will write and practice a short (5min) stand-up comedy routine of their own to perform at the end of the week.
