Miksang is a Tibetan word meaning “Good Eye.” It is an experiential practice - a contemplative photographic journey that will enhance your appreciation for the visual world.
This course focuses on the visual elements of form in the world: color, texture, light/shadow and pattern. Core visual exercises will be presented, and participants will engage in practicing them in class as well as in weekly assignments.
Any camera or cell phone can be used. No photography experience is required. This class is suitable for those new to Miksang, as well as those that have taken classes previously At least two of the five Saturdays will be practiced on location in the Madison area.
