Learn fundamentals for throwing on the pottery wheel! By practicing hands-on basics like centering and trimming, students can then create simple, consistent forms on the pottery wheel. The class will cover topics like form, texture, patterns, and glazing, while also teaching students about studio use guidelines and cooperation. Demonstrations will show students wheel-throwing basics for cylinders and bowls, as well as introduce them to different clay bodies and glazes. Ideal for beginners, with all experience levels welcome.
