Description
Participants should come to this program with their own creative ideas. The instructor will provide guidance on how to execute projects and will demonstrate sculpting techniques, explore finishing methods, and display options. Students should have some experience with hand building or sculpture techniques and will work at their own pace. Intermediate to advanced. Skip Date: Apr 3 & May 29.
Supplies needed: Bring your own clay tools or purchase one at the LCAC for $20 + tax. Clay may be purchased at the LCAC and is $20 + tax per 25-pound bag. A variety of clays are available. Basic tools are available for purchase or students may bring their own. Class fee includes glazes, most firings, and open studio time. There is a fee for re-fires & oversize work. You may not take glaze home. Small storage lockers are available for $20 per year.
