Description
The focus of this course will be on enhancing personal work using various service techniques. Participants will get demonstrations on slip/underglaze transfers, sgraffito, resist, and inlay techniques. Students should be able to create forms (hand built or wheel thrown) without assignment from the instructor. See online note or receipt for supply list. Intermediate to advanced. No skip dates.
Supplies needed: Underglaze pints(can purchase smaller quantity but may need to purchase more if you run out). Suggested brands of underglaze: Speedball, Mayco, or Amaco, no "Stroke and Coat". Suggested colors: black, white, red, blue, yellow. Other supplies: newsprint paper, needle tip squeeze bottle (different tips will give different line qualities), silicone rib tool.
