In the Art Education Lab, take a self-directed, hands-on approach as you experiment with various art media. Each session will have multiple stations based on a certain theme. A facilitator will explain the project at each station, where instructions will also be provided, and students are welcome to explore each of the stations at their own pace. Some of the projects will be large group projects that stay at the studio, while some may be smaller “make and take” items. Many of the projects may be recreated or expanded on at home. This lab is perfect for Homeschool families, Seniors and learning artists of all ages and abilities. This session's theme: FLOWERS. Create a large scale painting of a flower or flowers in the close up, vibrant colorful style of Georgia O'Keeffe. Use paper, fabric or other materials to create 3D flowers or bouquets. CHILDREN UNDER 7 MUST ATTEND WITH AN ADULT. Additional family members registering for the same Art Lab will receive an automatic $3 discount during checkout.
