About this event
Everyone deserves a couple hours to themselves on a Sunday to breathe, stretch and recuperate from the week. Quiet racing thoughts as we use therapeutic movement to empower and restore. Incorporating yoga, meditation, and creative expression, we will devise collaborative performances reflecting our lived experiences – mindfully shaping stories that illuminate social issues important to our community with potential spur positive change. Our tranquil oasis offers a judgment-free space to restore, reconnect, and engage issues larger than ourselves with the simple tools of breath, bodies in motion and the power of lived narrative. You’ll leave energized by community, centered from within to create waves without. All bodies and abilities welcomed.
