Embark on an overnight adventure this August. This two-night, three-day trek will take place during the Perseid Meteor Shower, giving youth a pristine view of the stars after days of hiking. Trip will be led by multiple BGCNLT staff, no backpacking experience is needed to participate. We plan on hiking the Loch Leven Trail, located just west of Donner Pass and Kingvale, though location is subject to change. Additional details will be provided at our required family orientation night on June 5 at 5:30 pm, at the Kings Beach Clubhouse. A preliminary day hike will also be hosted in July.
