The Kilgore College Fueling Fitness 5K and Fun Run is an exciting event promoting East Texas health, wellness, and community spirit. This family-friendly race will support the KC Excel Fitness Center and the East Texas Oil Museum, a cultural treasure preserving the history of the 1930s oil boom in our region.

Early packet pick-up/check-in will be on Friday, 4/26/24 at KC Excel Health Club from 4:30PM-6:00PM.
Course Information
5K - Expect concrete and asphast terrain through Kilgore College's campus, Kilgore's beautiful downtown, as well as other residential and commercial areas.
This course is categorized as "open," meaning there are no road closures. Participants run/walk at their own risk and are expected to remain cognizant of any potential hazards (vehicle traffic, debris and other trip hazards, etc.) while on course. Signage, as well as police officers and other staff/volunteers, will be present on the route to help direct traffic and keep motorists aware of the event in progress. Please remember to obey all traffic/pedestrian laws and remain courteous to all on the roadways: run against the flow of motor traffic, do not run/walk more than 2 abreast (side-by-side), do not make sudden movements i.e. stopping abruptly or darting in a different direction, etc. We thank you in advance for helping to maintain safety for all involved!

Packet pick-up/check-in from 7:00AM - 7:45AM
Opening ceremonies & 5K line-up at 8AM
5K to START at 8:30AM, 1-mile line-up and START to immediately follow
Awards tentatively scheduled for 9:30AM
