Aspiring veterinarians and vet techs in grades 4-8 are invited to join us for our Future Veterinarians Camp and find out exactly what it takes to become a vet! Campers will have the opportunity to tour and observe in the JHS hospital, study animal body language, learn and practice hands-on veterinary skills, participate in a Q&A with a JHS veterinarian, and SO much more! We'll also get to meet a few JHS pets, of course. Snacks and Meals: - A Jason's Deli bag lunch will be provided at no cost to our Lucky's Pack scholarship campers. You will be able to select the type of lunch your child prefers during registration. - 1 snack will be provided courtesy of our friends at SmartBox. - All first-time Lucky's Pack campers will be given a JHS/Lucky's Pack water bottle to use during the camp day and take home. What to Wear: - Campers should wear comfortable clothing that can get messy. - Closed-toe shoes are required. No Crocs, please! We also ask that all campers bring a stuffed animal to camp to use as a "patient" throughout the day. A medium- to large-sized stuffed animal will work best.
