Description
Join the growing number of people that are choosing to share their talents and spirit as members of the Voices of Experience, the Iowa City Senior Center’s mixed-voice choral ensemble. Rehearsing on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, the Voices of Experience provides a place for people of all musical backgrounds and abilities to sing, learn, create, laugh, and enjoy the process in an all-inclusive, friendly, and family-like atmosphere. Performing diverse styles of music from Broadway to Opera, pop to sacred and secular classics, the Voices of Experience provides something for everyone, but on and off the stage. All participants in the Voices of Experience are also members of the Iowa City Senior Center, and pay an additional program fee to cover instruction, music, and materials associated with this talented musical troupe. Be a part of the fun! Our first rehearsal will be Tuesday, January 14th at 1 p.m. in the Assembly Room of the Iowa City Senior Center. Sign up online or in person today! Membership required.
