Discover the fundamentals of flame working. An introduction to glass making and torch work by learning to manipulate borosilicate rods. Students will work with several different tools, surface applications, and design techniques to create solid sculpted animals and marbles!Studio fees have now been included in your registration as a means to help create a more sustainable Art Center experience for all. Adjusted for expenses such as studio materials and equipment maintenance, please review your receipt upon enrolling to find the final cost breakdown.

- Please keep in mind this studio has high heat temperatures.
- Bring water to drink and sunglasses. Wear a cotton shirt, pants and closed toe shoes. No sandals, shorts or synthetics.
- Students must have a minimum height of 56 inches to be able to look into the furnace, full vision capabilities, gripping strength with both hands and adequate hand-eye coordination.
