Description
For this introductory to intermediate level figure drawing class, we draw inspiration from the delightful watercolors of dancers by Auguste Rodin. Guided by the graceful lines and fluid movements captured in Rodin's work, we'll explore techniques to bring life and energy to our own colorful creations. Emphasis will be placed on process, basic proportions, capturing the essence of movement through gesture, and using sensitive and expressive contour line. This class offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills while paying homage to a master of the form.
