Description

Focusing on developing the technical skills required to correctly manipulate glass through off-hand blowing, Hot Glass 1 is a perfect introduction of hollow work and sculpting. After learning the keys to a strong foundation, students will better understand the medium and its possibilities in art-making.

- Please keep in mind this studio has high heat temperatures.
- Bring water to drink and sunglasses. Wear a cotton shirt, pants and closed toe shoes. No sandals, shorts or synthetics.
- Students must have a minimum height of 56 inches to be able to look into the furnace, full vision capabilities, gripping strength with both hands and adequate hand-eye coordination.
