Description
During this camp, campers will explore the outdoors through archery, tree climbing, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and cooking food over a campfire! All camp activities are designed to build confidence and inspire young girls to take action for environmental causes. Open to anyone between the ages of 10-12 who identifies as a girl. This camp is at the Ornithology Center.
Friday July 12th camp will be from 3:30-10:00pm. During this afternoon and evening camp day, we will explore the park at night, learn about nocturnal animal adaptations and gather around a campfire with s'mores.
Please apply sunscreen and bug spray before drop-off. Wear good walking shoes (no sandals or flip flops). Bring extra clothes and a water bottle each day. Please pack a non-refrigerated lunch each day. One camp snack will be provided each day. Please inform us of any allergies!
Day Camp Refund Policy
· A full refund will be provided for camps cancelled by Indy Parks.
· A $15 service charge per child per week will be deducted from all refunds and transfers. The $15 is not refundable or transferable and applies to all Indy Parks camps.
· For campers withdrawing from camps at Garfield Park Arts Center, Southeastway, Eagle Creek, Riverside Bike Camp or Holliday, if the camper is withdrawn less than two weeks prior to first day of camp, only 50% of your costs will be refunded.
· Camp withdrawals must be requested no later than the Thursday the week before the camp begins for any refund.
· A refund less the $15 service charge will be issued for medical reasons. A written note is required from a physician. For COVID-19 related illnesses, at-home COVID-19 tests are acceptable.
· A refund may be requested at the park where the program will be held or by contacting Customer Service, 317-327-PARK.
· All check refunds could possibly take six to eight weeks for processing.
· If a camper applies for scholarship but is not granted funds, deposit may be refunded.
