THE TIKI BEACH 5k/10K. is YOUR LIVELY race with LIVE Polynesian Drummers and Dancers! It's your end of the summer BEACH PARTY RUN! Coconuts, palm trees, grass skirts, and the TAPUA PRODUCTION drummers and dancers make this the BEST BEACH BASH, healthy RUNNER's Party!
Welcome to the Annual Tiki Beach 5K/10K. YOUR Polynesian-themed Summer RUN. Every participant gets a Hawaiian-style race shirt and the BEST EVER CUSTOM CAST FINISHER MEDAL! It's a TIKI! CAREN WARE EVENTS are RFID CHIP Timed by ITZ ABOUT TIME and have very cool age division awards and overall finisher trophies. (5-year age spans this time!)
Pancakes are served from 7:15 am to 9:30 am. Supports the local Kiwanis and Kid's Read. Enjoy the expo area and great selfie moments. $5
The course is Flat and fast, or slow and easy. Make it the pace you want it. The 5K/10K routes are both wideout and backs courses on the paved beach path. Listen to the waves with a beachside view. Strollers stay to the right!

- Chip timed and a custom race bib
- Water and fruit at the finish line

A BIG "beachy" Polynesian-themed start area...standing 6 feet apart if we still need to!

Top Three Male/Female Awards. There are “In It To Win It” age categories 3 deep with 5-year age spans: 5k and 10K
1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80&over
YOU get a 4th reward for doing three SUMMER EVENTS: Cinco De Miles, SO Cal Pirate's Run, 4th of July Red, White, & Blue, and the TIKI BEACH 5k/10K are the summer race options.
EARLY RACE PACKET PICK UP at Costa Mesa's Road Runner Sports from noon to 3pm
DATE: Saturday, September 21 NOON TO 3PM (new location!!!)

(You can pick up for others. No ID required. You may also pick up race morning at the race site)
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
6:30 am Vendors arrive and set up.
Volunteers arrive and check in
7 am-8:30 Registration OPEN
Shirts and bibs are available for pick up on race day
6:30am to 10 am Polynesian Party Expo open for participants
8:15 kid's dash and 1 mile
8:30 am Mass Start for 10K and 5K.
9:10 am BEGINS 5k AWARDS CEREMONY
9:40 BEGINS 10K AWARDS CEREMONY
PARKING:
- EVENT in LOT 25 of Bolsa Chica State Beach. (Closest to the corner of Warner and PCH) State Park charges $15 per car. You must enter at the main gate on PCH. Public parking is available behind the Jack in the Box in Sunset Beach. You will have to walk from there into the State Park via the sidewalk. RESTROOMS are open and located on each end of lot 25.
