Description
North Carolina is home to many unique geologic features – come see for yourself as we hike the High Shoals Falls loop at South Mountains State Park. Discover sparkling waterfalls and how Shinny Creek got its namesake at the geology pit-stops. The hike is around 3 miles and includes around 300ft of elevation gain. Bring a lunch to enjoy after the hike and snacks for along the way.- Meet at Quest Nature Center - 6345 Sample Rd Huntersville, NC 28078
- Please dress accordingly - wear layers, bring a hat, a backpack, and plenty of water.
