Description
Celebrate Mountain Island Lake’s Centennial with a paddle party! Enjoy water activities, food, and fun with paddling pals out on the lake. Our goal is to have 100 non-motorized boats on the water and we want you to be one of them! Festivities will occur at the Latta Nature Preserve waterfront and your registration includes a swag bag of goodies for you to keep. Register to use one of our kayaks, paddleboards, or canoes – or bring your own!Participant packet pickup will be on Saturday, May 11 from 10:00am-4:00pm or Friday, May 17 from 3:00-7:00pm. Participant packets will include an event map, boat launch instructions, and your event shirt.
- Meet at Latta Nature Preserve Waterfront- Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult- If you are a BYO boater and need assistance moving your vessel from the parking lot, please email Quest@mecknc.gov
