Water ProficiencyHead-up front crawl or breaststroke - 25 metres Scull in ready position - 30 seconds Carry object (2.3 kg) - 15 metres Surface dives, foot-first & head-first Lifesaving kick - 25 metres Inflate clothing & use as buoyant assist Obstacle swim - 25 metres Front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke - 25 metres each Fitness training: 350 metre workout (3 times) Swim 100 metres in 3 minutes (100 yards in 2:40) or betterFirst Aid Assess conscious victim Contacting EMS Care for external bleedingRecognition & Rescue Look & see: study aquatic facility. Turn and describe. Simulate & recognize weak and non-swimmer Throw aid to hit target as many times as possible - 30 seconds
