Description
MUSEUM DETAILS:The International Museum of Surgical Sciences was originally conceived as the ICS Hall of Fame, and as a repository for its growing collection of historically significant surgical instrumentation, artworks and manuscripts. Journey through time as we explore the development of anesthesia, germ theory, and anatomical knowledge. Experience a demonstration showing the process of a leg amputation from the mid-1800s, with no anesthesia and no sterilization.Upon returning at noon, a catered lunch will be served in reserved dining room at The Community House.
TRIP & TRAVEL DETAILS:Trip fee includes Coach bus transportation to and from The Community House. Entry & Tour at Museum and Catered Lunch at The Community House - - Lunch details to follow. Bus Departs from The Community House at 9am. This trip is shared with Downers Grove.
Kindly register at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure the trip can take place. Minimum of 6 attendees needed - 11 spots available. Registration ends September 2nd as details will be finalized at that time.
