Through the study of self-defense/Kung Fu students will learn self-discipline, confidence, coordination and balance. The discipline learned helps improve attention and focus. Students will learn that fighting is the last option and it is always better to resolve an issue in a healthy, non-violent way. Students will learn to be well rounded individuals. They will work with martial arts bo staff, Escrima sticks, rubber and wooden weapons. Instructor believes that if you can't fight with the weapon, you cannot defend against it.
This activity meets on Mondays and Wednesdays of the month at 6:00 p.m. on the following dates:
April 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, and 24th.
