Historic PlasterWorkshopSaturdays & SundayJune 22, 23 & 29Learn how to repair plaster wallsLearn techniques used to repair and finish walls with original lime materials and modern products. in this hands-on 3-day workshop with Paul Wade, David Gibney, and the Washington County Historical Trust. Participants will be guided in the hands-on repair of the brown coat and final plaster coat. The techniques and skills learned in this workshop are applicable to lathe & plaster repairs, modern drywall repairs, straw bale and cob construction. Workshop includes materials, lunch, and snacks. $150/3-day workshop.
Students will meet at the Saylor House at Kiwanis Park on the first day, and continue the following days at a location TBD.
Payment due to Washington County Historical Trust. Bring cash or check payment on-site.
