Description
Approaching the Abstract with Karen KlucowiczExperienced artist and instructor Karen Klucowicz will introduce participants to concept and create their own abstract work of art in acrylics. There will be an introduction to methods to concept a painting, presentation of style examples in abstract art, acrylic painting techniques and colour mixing demonstration. With personal guidance throughout, each participant will leave the workshop with an original abstract painting. Materials not included.
Registrants are to come with the following materials:- 1 small sketchbook or pad of paper- 1 stretched canvas (up to 20x16”)- an assortment of 3 brushes and 1 palette knife- acrylic paint in blue, red, yellow, and white- 1 palette plate NOTE: as this is an introduction to painting, student grade canvas, brushes, palette knife and paints can be used for this workshop
