We are a local competitive recreational swim team in the Sierra Foothills Swim League. Swimmers from the ages of 5-18 can join our team and learn/develop competitive swim skills while participating in safe, fun and educational experiences. There are practices 4 days a week at the Memorial Park Pool. We also have swim meets most Saturdays throughout the summer. Swim meets are not required but are strongly encouraged as they are a fun team bonding and individual learning experience.
Swim practices will start on Tuesday May 28, 2024 and will go until Thursday August 1, 2024. This will give us 10 weeks of practice. Practices for all age groups will be 45 minutes long.
Our practices will be held Mondays-Thursdays at the Memorial Park Pool. The pool will be open at 6pm for families to start getting their swimmers ready for practice. Please do not try to get into the pool area prior to 6pm as there are other organizations using the pool up until 6pm. Swimmers ages 6-8 will practice from 615pm-7pm. Swimmers ages 9-12 will practice from 710pm-755pm. Swimmers ages 13-18 will practice from 805pm-850pm. All swimmers and families must be out of the pool area by 9pm.
Registration fees for all age groups will be $210. For families with multiple swimmers, you will pay full price for the first and second swimmers. You will receive a 50% discount for each additional swimmer. Please note that all families must give Orca's a $150 volunteer deposit check and complete 4 volunteer shifts throughout the season. Upon completion of your volunteer shifts, your volunteer deposit check will be returned.
Due to league regulations, swimmers must stop all participation in all USA Swim Teams as of May 15, 2024 in order to be eligible to swim with Orca Swim Team.
