Description
Enter the tasty and adventurous world of books using all five senses. Stories come to life as you search the room in a fun scavenger hunt, create a hands-on crafts, make a themed snack, do a little dance to shake out the wiggles, and then sit down for story time.
Did you know that each color of the LGBTQIA+ Pride Flag has a very special meaning? We Are the Rainbow! - The Colors of Pride by Claire Winslow and illustrated by Riley Samels explores the colors of the flag and what each color represents. For example, you will learn that purple is for spirit and blue is for harmony. This beautiful books is uplifting and inclusive and talks about how we should all feel important, special, unique, and loved.
This is a fantastic way to celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride Month with your family.
Adult supervision required. Individual tickets need to be purchased for each child and adult. Advance registration strongly encouraged. Admission is $5 per person. Please purchase tickets for every child and adult attending.
