Description
ArtisTree is a free year-long exploration of the wonder and beauty of Trees. Leading the project, Charlene Bowling creates a series of monthly art experiences designed to be accessible to artists of all ages and skill levels. While increasing tree knowledge and environmental awareness, ArtisTree also invites family and community involvement.
One Saturday per month, the 12 tree projects each explore a different art path: collage, painting, paper mache, drawing, photography, silk-screening, illustration, printing, design, bookmaking and model making. Many of the projects are collaborative, most utilize recycled and nature materials; all are imaginative.
Let us know you are coming by registering ahead of time. Walk ins also welcome.
