About this event

The BIF Environmental Club provides opportunities to become an advocate for the environment in the ongoing fight against climate change. The BIF Environmental Club is a volunteer and service-oriented club. Members of this club will learn about environmental problems and ways in which these problems can be tackled. We as a club will decide on projects for our school, the local community, and in partnership with local organizations to tackle these environmental problems. This past year we conducted a Tote Bag Painting Event and an Earth Day Environmental Fair to promote sustainability on our campus. Projects will include hands-on experiences like building a dedicated BIF Green Space with a greenhouse, tree planting, a wildflower and vegetable garden, and a community composting area. Other projects may include educational awareness where we plan school-wide events with leading experts in this field. Combating climate change is a crucial necessity for our generation and this club will provide the opportunity to advocate and be an environmental leader in a fun, interactive, and impactful way.
