Description
Restorative yoga helps to release stress, reduce fatigue, comfort anxiety, and ease physical pain through gently held postures with the use of props to invoke deep rest in the body. The practice brings balance by teaching students to be still and drop into a restful state using guided breathwork practices and propped poses to calm the nervous system and draw in a natural healing response. This practice welcomes all students of any age and skill level. What to Bring: comfortable clothes, and a bottle of water. A yoga mat is recommended to bring, but all class supplies will be onsite. Our highly qualified/certified instructor is excited to meet everyone and will ensure an educational, safe, and FUN experience! This FCPR Fitness class will be held at Scott Key Center. Scott Key Center is located at 1050 Rocky Springs Rd, Frederick, MD 21702 Parking is available at the front of the building, at the front island of the parking lot. Look for our FCPR signs to enter the facility at the front of the building. Staff onsite will direct you to our activity room.
