This class does not qualify as an intro class for studio membership.

Throwing Larger: At least 6 lbs.
3-week class
Do you have trouble centering more than 3 pounds? I’ll help you get past that hurdle. You will double the amount of clay on the wheel and possibly triple.
Each week we’ll delve into different ways to throw larger vessels.
Projects: Platter, planter and vase.
What to bring: 12# of clay each week, basic throwing tools (needle tool, soft and firm ribs, sponge, wire cutters), calipers or ruler, throwing stick, sponge on a stick. If you don’t have a heat gun or propane torch, you can share mine.
Bisque firing is included. Arrange pick up with the instructor.
