Description
Seven years in the making and completed in the spring of 2022, this architectural masterpiece is designed to pay tribute to the valor and sacrifice of those who have served and fought for our country. The memorial is a replica of the USS Colorado, including a marble monument that recognizes each branch of the military. While on the park grounds, we will also visit the Adams County Museum which includes a one-room schoolhouse, 1 1930's Conoco station, a Blacksmith shop, firehouse, a restored 1800's 2-story Victorian house and a railroad caboose.
Please note there will be lots of walking and standing on this trip.Age Group
