Description
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) camp is designed to engage participants in hands-on activities and projects related to STEM fields. The campers will explore a wide range of STEM topics through experiments, coding sessions, robotics projects, and problem-solving challenges. The STEM camp aims to provide an engaging environment where participants are exposed to cutting-edge technologies, visits from STEM professionals, and opportunities for team collaboration.This year, we are organizing our camp activities into two distinct age groups:
Junior Campers (Ages 5-8): Designed to cater to the curious minds and boundless energy of our younger participants
Senior Campers (Ages 9-12): Offering a more challenging and engaging program tailored to the interests and abilities of our older campers
We require proof of age for all campers. Please present a copy of your child's birth certificate, passport, health card, or any official government-issued identification on the first day of camp.
The 2024 consent forms and information package will be emailed out prior to the beginning of camp. If you have enrolled your child in a program at the Memorial Sports Centre in 2024, you are not required to complete the forms again. Please confirm that you have completed the required documents with the program supervisor.
Children who have special accommodations through school or other agencies will be required to provide the same support in order to be considered for the Town of Fort Frances Summer Programs. For consideration of special circumstances, consultation with the program supervisor is required.
Refund Policy: refunds and credits on account are subject to an administrative fee of $10. To receive either a refund or credit on account, withdrawal requests must be made 2 business days before the first program date of any camp program.
