We're sorry, but online registration is not allowed for this program. Please contact us during regular business hours for registration information.

This special programs may or may not be offered this year as part of the Flagstaff Festival of Science.

The Flagstaff Festival of Science provides a collection of free science focused educational events during ’the best 10 days of the year’. We have been lucky enough to provide the following educational tours in the past and we hope to offer them again, if accepted by the festival.

Description:

Join us on a tour of the Harrenburg Wash Natural Area to learn about a project Coconino County Parks and Recreation and Natural Channel Design are conducting to enhance our local riparian habitat. The tour will provide information about the natural area and the restoration project. Participants will learn about the area's hydrology and history.

The tour will be led by Geoffrey Gross and Alex Wood.

Geoffrey is Coconino County Parks and Recreation's Natural Resource Manager.

Alex is a Hydrologist for Natural Channel Design who has worked extensively on restoring Harrenburg Wash.
