Participating in one of the four events is a fantastic way to explore the Fairlie Basin, the Gateway to the Mackenzie. The Mackenzie Half Marathon prides itself in providing a unique course that is usually not accessible any other time of the year. A community run event means you'll join in for a great race environment and fun for everyone. All finishers will be presented with a beautiful medal and all funds raised go to the Fairlie Lions.

21.1km Mackenzie Half Marathon Walk: 9:30am 21.1km Mackenzie Half Marathon Run (Over 3 hours): 9:30am 21.1km Mackenzie Half Marathon Run (Under 3 hours): 10:00am 10km River Dip Walk: 10:30am 10km River Dip Run: 11:00am 5.5km Flat Jack: 11:30am 2.5km Hole in One: 12:45pmPrize Giving
Prize giving will be held at 2pm at the Fairlie Community Hall. Prizes will be awarded to the category winners for each event and you will have the opportunity to win a MAJOR spot prize. Participants must be present at prize giving to win.All finishers will receive a medal and spot prizes will be given out throughout the event.
Want to guarantee a prize? Get into the MACKENZIE SPIRIT. Anyone who finishes an event wearing a tartan kilt will receive a prize!
Race Day Registrations
Race pack pick up and registrations are at the Fairlie Green, Main Road, Fairlie on Friday 19th July 3pm - 6:30pm and Saturday 20th July from 7:30am - 12noon. Please ensure you give yourself plenty of time to register before your race starts. If you are in town on Friday 19th July, we would prefer that you pick your pack up that evening so there is not a huge rush on Saturday.If there are still spaces available in the event, then you may register on Race Day. Online registrations close on 15th July 2024.
All competitors will receive a race pack which includes a timing chip. This timing chip must be returned at the finish line or you will receive an invoice for $20.
