Fantasy World (entering 4 – 6 grade) July 21 – 25 @ 1:00 – 4:00 $140/student What makes fantasy fiction? Magical creatures, impossible objects, mythical places, invented language, and a good vs. evil plot line. That’s what! And that’s what students will be focusing on as they create their own fantasy fiction play. Students will use theater games and exercises to explore the basics of acting while learning ensemble building skills and gaining self-confidence. We will also explore the role of the writer in theatre with a variety of writing exercises. Students will perform their fantasy play for family and friends on the last day of class. Showcase at 3:30 on Friday.
